Addison Walker is a girl with natural style. She doesn't even wear makeup because she feels that brains are more important than looks. In fact, one of her closest friends is the smartest boy in school. But she has no clue that he has a strange alter ego—as a makeup artist. When they meet, will it be a makeover disaster?
I'll start with the good news first, since the bad news isn't all that horrible...well, it is, but it isn't.
Good news: Starting in June, Mascara will be appearing in Dream, which I am very excited about. It's going to be waaay fun. ^_^
Bad news: Submitting to Dream will require that I do some extra work, so I will probably be cutting back on my updates here to give myself more time. I'm not sure of exactly what I'm going to do yet, but I will definately have an answer by the time I update next week. I'll keep you all posted.
As you may have noticed, whenever I do update, I post a lot of pages. Every week. This is just a note that in the near future, I will be posting less pages...Not yet, but the time is getting close. I'll post another blog update to let you know when my update schedule changes. ^_^
And as for the next three chapters, let me just say that they don't have much meaning until the end of chapter 12. The ending of chapter 12 is why chapters 9, 10, and 11 exist. That's all I have to say. Enjoy reading!

First of all, thanks for the comments! The feedback keeps me motivated. And yes, this manga is on Tokyopop.com, but the format they present mangas in is kind of difficult read. I think this is much more reader friendly. And I don't have to post so many pages at a time. But I still post Mascara on Tokyopop because there are people who enjoy reading it there too.
Speaking of pages: I will be updating every friday (or least I'll try to!) I'm not quite sure how many pages. I depends on how I feel. But on a day that I update, I won't put up more than 8 pages or less than four pages.

Hard Decision...
If you've been following this manga for awile, you know that I post a lot of pages here every week. Since I'm starting to work on another project, I won't be able to post as many pages.
Turns out, I've also been posting Mascara on Smackjeeves too, but my updates are much slower there(4 pages every other week). Since I seriously need the extra time, I've decided to just move everything to Smackjeeves since the slower updates would be better for me. I really hate to leave, since I really, really like this site, but I think that would be the best in the long run.
So put plainly, I won't be updating Mascara on Comicfury anymore :(--but you can still follow what happens next on Smackjeeves. My next update on Smackjeeves will be April the 14, this upcoming Wednesday. So you won't miss a beat.
